How It Works
Getting started with Supported Independent Living
Understand your needs
We talk through your living situation, routines and how much support you want day-to-day versus overnight.
Build your support plan
We map out a SIL arrangement that fits your funding, your home, and the level of independence you're aiming for.
Meet your support team
You're introduced to the small, consistent team who'll actually be supporting you, before support begins.
Ongoing check-ins
We regularly review how things are going and adjust your support as your routines or goals change.
Common Questions
FAQs about this service
Is SIL the same as living in a group home? +
Not necessarily. SIL can be delivered in shared or individual living arrangements. We work with your existing home setup wherever possible.
Can support hours change over time? +
Yes. As your independence grows or your needs change, we adjust the level and type of support with you.
Who coordinates with my support coordinator or plan manager? +
We liaise directly with your support coordinator or plan manager to keep everyone aligned on your plan and goals.
